About me
Hi, I'm Emily! Music has been my lifelong passion and has shaped who I am today. Ever since I can remember, I have embraced the stage and found joy in singing. I have always seeked out ways to be involved in music, including show choir, being president of my college's music and drama club, and seven fantastic years in the Miss America Organization, where I not only honed my vocal talents but also learned the vital importance of confidence, stage presence, and intellect.
In addition to my musical pursuits, I enjoy creating YouTube videos. This platform allows me to connect with others on a deeper level, sharing insights into my life, both the good times and the bad. A significant part of my mission is to tell my story of resilience against both physical and mental illness. I was also the first openly queer person to ever compete for the title of Miss Iowa in the Miss America Organization. I believe that by sharing my experiences, I can inspire others to find their strength and hope in the face of their struggles. I have spoken at many schools and volunteered my time raising awareness for the communities I am proud to be a part of.
